Apple airtags patent exposure: “find my iPhone” will be more powerful

According to foreign media Appleinsider, two sets of patents recently announced have exposed Apple’s new position tracking tag device known as “airtags”. At present, Apple’s “multi interface balise device change power mode” and “multi interface balise device power management” applications have been submitted to the U.S. patent and Trademark Office, and the basic functions of the location tracking device are described in detail. < / P > < p > these patents outline special power management capabilities, such as intelligently increasing beacon transmission rates based on defined locations and proximity to nearby devices. MIT equipment is a small portable electronic device with basic processing elements, motion sensors, radio stack and power core. It can be attached to common objects such as wallets, keys and ID cards for location tracking. The device can be connected to a host or other compatible device to help locate lost items. < / P > < p > according to apple, the current location tracking solutions have many disadvantages, including the traditional dependence on near-field communication. Telecommunication technology is usually expensive and requires complex circuits and power, which is not a good combination for highly portable label devices. Existing low-power products can only use NFC or similar radio technologies, which only work when they are close to users, which limits their practicability.
