Although they also have capacitors to filter, excessive clutter will still affect electronic components, and in serious cases will damage the performance of hardware, so the current provided by the power supply itself should be pure enough. < p > < p > Intel’s ATX power supply specification has a ripple limit of + 12V, and the output ripple of + 5V and + 3.3V should be controlled within 50mV, which is also the limit adopted in this review. < / P > < p > our output ripple test instrument is a digital oscilloscope, with dual analog channels, fine window expansion function, accurate analysis of waveform details and profiles, can automatically measure 28 kinds of waveform parameters, through 1gs / s real-time sampling and 25gs / s equivalent sampling, we can quickly capture the signal on the oscilloscope, powerful trigger and analysis ability make it easy to capture And analyze the waveform. < / P > < p > we connect the power supply to the test equipment, set the full load according to the parameters of the power supply, and then record the output ripple, including high-frequency ripple and low-frequency ripple, take the maximum value as the test result, and then compare it with the limit value of the power supply specification. If one item exceeds the standard, it is considered as unqualified. < p > < p > from the test results, the output ripple of the 13 power supplies in this horizontal evaluation is controlled within the limit value of 120mV at + 12V, and the performance is good. However, the tests at + 5V and + 3.3V are unsatisfactory.
