The scientific research on epidemic prevention and control has made the scientific and technological circles experience an unprecedented “big test”, which highlights the importance and urgency of cultivating and building a national strategic scientific and technological force.
Therefore, to build a “science and technology ace army”, we should give full play to the role of the state as the organizer of major scientific and technological innovation, adhere to the strategic demand orientation, determine the direction and focus of scientific and technological innovation, and strive to solve the major problems restricting national development and security.
Liu Yuxin said that in accordance with the strategic direction of “four orientations”, the Ministry of science and technology has coordinated the urgent and long-term needs of the country, studied and judged major scientific and technological directions, strengthened the systematic planning and layout of scientific and technological innovation, made overall arrangements for the construction of strategic scientific and technological forces and the implementation of major scientific and technological tasks, strengthened the integrated allocation of innovation elements such as bases, projects, talents and funds, and gathered elite scientific and technological forces We should accelerate the implementation of a number of forward-looking and strategic national major science and technology projects, seize the commanding heights of international science and technology competition, and provide strong support for the security and stability of the industrial chain supply chain.
Give full play to the role of the national team of important colleges and Universities

“As a member of the national team of colleges and universities, we have undertaken the construction of large-scale national scientific research platforms such as the National Laboratory. “Recently, the school is breaking the barriers between different laboratories and disciplines, cultivating new growth points and future discipline peaks. We also plan to carry out in-depth collaborative innovation with state-owned enterprises, central enterprises and large private enterprises, and establish joint R & D platforms in key areas. ” Huang said.
Support leading enterprises to form innovation consortia
