U.S. 5g strategy turns completely: it will auction military spectrum, and if ecology is far behind China

However, the disadvantages of millimeter wave are particularly obvious, such as short transmission distance, and easily affected by buildings, people, plants, and even raindrops. In Verizon’s pilot millimeter wave 5g network, even leaves can not penetrate, “one tree rule” has become a joke in the communication industry. < p > < p > after finding that millimeter wave is too difficult to be “righted”, the Federal Communications Commission has publicly acknowledged that millimeter wave has high construction cost, poor radio transmission characteristics and unsatisfactory coverage performance in 5g network. The official also took the initiative to “admit” that it would no longer insist on using millimeter wave to build 5g, but also use sub-6 band. Moreover, as the first country in the world to make clear the application of intermediate frequency spectrum, China’s successful experience of 5g is not just “blooming in the wall”, but “fragrant”, which is worth learning from abroad.
