According to the introduction, Xiaomi’s third-generation off screen camera technology adopts a brand-new self-developed pixel layout, which allows the screen to pass through the light through the gap area of the sub-pixel, so that each unit pixel still retains the complete RGB sub-pixel display without sacrificing pixel density. On the basis of the new pixel layout scheme, Xiaomi’s third-generation off screen camera also adopts a special circuit design to hide more components under the RGB sub-pixel, which further improves the light transmittance of the camera area under the screen. Recently, Xiaomi’s half year 2020 financial report was released. The financial report shows that in the second quarter, Xiaomi’s smartphone product ASP increased by 11.8% year-on-year. According to the data provided by Xiaomi group, the shipment of high-end mobile phones priced at 300 euro or above increased by 99.2% in the second quarter over the same period last year.
